The Team Behind DMA Legal
DMA Legal's team works in Spanish and English, with attorneys trained at institutions such as the University of Oxford, Tecnológico de Monterrey, and UNAM. Partners Daniel Méndez Antillón and Carlos Sagaón Garza personally handle every matter, backed by more than 28 years of practice.
Daniel Méndez Antillón, founder and partner, holds a law degree with honors from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Magister Juris from the University of Oxford; he practiced at Baker & McKenzie from 1997 to 2012 and co-authored two chapters of "Doing Business in Mexico" (Juris Publishing). Carlos Sagaón Garza, partner, brings more than 20 years in financial and real estate transactions, with project finance experience across the rail, highway, and energy sectors, and is also a co-author of "Doing Business in Mexico".
The team is completed by Jazmín Calletano Benítez and Fernanda Reyes Sánchez, attorneys in the corporate and finance practice. The firm works in Spanish and English, and has documented and closed more than 150 domestic and cross-border transactions over more than 28 years.
